These magical cards and prints are a gift to the world by the late Stanley R. Alapa, who combined the inspiring astrological writings of Murshida Ivy O. Duce and the artwork of Edgardo F. Garcia.

How the "Gift" Came About In the early '70s, Murshida Ivy O. Duce was an expert in ancient Astrology, and the first "Murshid" (teacher) of an American school of Mysticism

called Avatar Meher Baba's Sufism Reoriented. She produced the astrological interpretations of each Zodiac sign and presented it as a gift to Stanley R. Alapa. Stan searched for ways to help humanity and believed his gift of Zodiac signs should be made available to the general public, in order to help people make better choices about life, love and work.

With the help of his full-grown children, who were well immersed in their creative enterprise in 1996, Stan felt the time was right to ressurrect the signs and give it new life, as the dawn of a the Millennium was fast approaching. The "Treasure Box" was opened in the family home on Moloka'i. With the help of his daughters, Stan produced the first product of the Zodiac signs which was in the form of greeting cards. Helping others became the foundation for establishing Alapa Hawaii.
